Italy is the first "G-7 Member", which joins the Chinese mega-project despite concerns of major EU-partners and the USA. Italy hopes China will invest billions, also in the ports of Trieste and Genoa. However, the EU and the USA are worried that the project intends to expand China's claim to global power and that Italy could become the bridge head of the Chinese in Europe. Chinese investments and influence in Europe is indirectly financed by Swiss money too. According to Media reports, the money for the investments in Italy will be provided by the "Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)". In 2015, Switzerland contributed 706 Mio. US-Dollars to the capital of "AIIB"; at that time the Swiss Parliament approved the loan. The Swiss Government named the "Poverty Alleviation in Asia" as the reason for the loan. The Swiss contribution to the "AIIB capital" is rather small, with an overall capital of 100 billion US-Dollars; Switzerland's voting right is 0.9%. The voting rights are not important anyway, because China, thanks to its blocking minority could veto not acceptable projects. AIIB thus becomes a geo-political power instrument. Now, Swiss middle politicians have become also critical of China's ambitions in Italy. One has to analyze the consequences of China's power politics, is the echo from the Swiss Parliament. The cooperation with China in the project "New Silk Road" was stopped by Malaysia; it amounted to approx. 22.3 billion US-Dollars. There is no desire for a new colonialism and Malaysia cannot afford to pay back so much money. Der chinesische Staats-Praesident Xi Jinping besuchte Italien, wo er eine Absichtserklaerung (Rahmenvertrag) unterzeichnete; darin gibt Italien die Mitarbeit bei der Initiative "Neue Seidenstrasse" bekannt. Italien ist das erste "G-7-Mitglied", welches sich trotz Bedenken grosser EU-Partner und der USA, dem chinesischen Mega-Projekt anschliesst. Italien hofft auf Milliarden-Investitionen aus China, unter anderem in die Haefen von Triest und Genua. Die EU und die USA befuerchten jedoch, dass China mit dem Projekt vor allem seinen weltweiten Macht-Anspruch ausbauen will und Italien zum Brueckenkopf der Chinesen in Europa werden koennte. Chinesische Investitionen und Einfluss in Europa werden indirekt auch mit Schweizer Geld finanziert. Laut Medien-Berichten soll das Geld fuer die Investitionen in Italien von der "Asiatischen Infrastruktur-Investitions-Bank (AIIB)" bereit gestellt werden. Die Schweiz hat sich 2015 mit 706 Mio. US-Dollar am Kapital der "AIIB" beteiligt; damals bewilligte das Parlament den Kredit. Die Schweizer Regierung nannte als Begruendung fuer den Kredit die "Armuts-Bekaempfung in Asien". Das Schweizer Beitrag am "AIIB- Kapital" ist eher klein, bei einem Gesamtkapital von 100 Mrd. US- Dollar; das Stimmrecht der Schweiz betraegt 0,9%. Die Stimmanteile sind ohnehin nicht wichtig, da China dank seiner Sperr-Minoritaet ein Veto gegen nicht genehme Projekte einlegen koennte. Die "AIIB" wird so zu einem geo-politischen Macht-Instrument. Nun aeussern sich auch Schweizer Mitte-Politiker kritisch zu Chinas Ambitionen in Italien. Man muss die Folgen von Chinas Macht-Politik analysieren, toent es aus dem Parlament. Die Zusammenarbeit mit China beim "Projekt Neue Seidenstrasse" stoppte aber Malaysia; der Wert betrug rund 22,3 Mrd. US-Dollar. Es sei kein neuer Kolonialismus gewuenscht und Malaysia koenne es sich nicht leisten so viel Geld zurueckzuhalen. (Mon. 25.03.2019) 2019年3月24日、ツューリッヒの州政府と州議会議員が選出された。ツューリ ッヒの結果を国中が秋の国政選挙の観点からも緊張の眼差しで見つめた。州政 府の投票率は33.53%で、州議会議員の投票率は31.97%だった。州政府の7人の 内5人は現職が再選された。2人の新人の当選には大きな驚きがあった。FDP(自 由民主党)のトーマス・フォーゲルが落選し、代わって「緑の党」の32歳のマ ーティン・ノイコムがツューリッヒ政府に加わることになった。この結果、 FDPは初めて政府の2人目の座を失った。議会では180議席の内、既存の主要政 党であるCVP(キリスト教民主党)、FDP、SVP(スイス国民党)が合わせて12議席 失った。「緑の党」と「緑のリベラル」は明らかに現在の気候変動の議論から 恩恵を受け、議会で9議席増やした。「BDP(国民民主党)」は選挙区で5%の得票 率を獲得出来なかった為、議会を代表する資格を失った。ツューリッヒ議会も 女性の進出が加速し、72名の女性が選出された。これまでは180人中の女性議 員は60人だった。ツューリッヒ政府もナタリー・リックリ(SVP)の選出で新た に1人女性が増えて、7人の政府閣僚の内4人が女性になった。秋の国政選挙(国 民議会と全州議会)でも「緑の波」が押し寄せるのか憶測を呼んでいる。 On Sunday, March 24, 2019, in the Canton of Zurich, the Government and the members of the Cantonal Parliament were elected; Switzerland looked curiously to the results in Zurich, also in view of the national elections in autumn. For the Cantonal Parliament, the voter turnout was 33.53% and for the Government it was 31.97%. For the Government 7 seats were to be elected; 5 current members accomplished their re-election. Two new Government members were elected; one of it was a major surprise. FDP-candidate Thomas Vogel was not elected, but the only 32-year-old Martin Neukom of the "Green Party" managed to get into the Zurich Government. For the first time, the FDP-party lost its second seat in the Government. In the Cantonal Parliament 180 seats were to be elected; the previous civil majority with the parties CVP, FDP and SVP has lost a total of 12 seats. The parties "Green" and "Green Liberals (GLP)" have apparently benefited from the current climate debate; they each won 9 additional seats in the Cantonal Parliament. The "BDP-party" is no longer represented in Parliament, since it did not reach the 5-percent limit in any constituency. Zurich's Parliament becomes also more feminine; 72 women were elected to parliament, so far there were 60 out of 180 members women. At the Zurich Government, there is now a women's majority with the election of Natalie Rickli (SVP); 4 out of 7 Government members are women. It is speculated whether there could be a "Green Wave" in the national elections in autumn. Am Sonntag 24. Maerz 2019 wurden im Kanton Zuerich der Regierungsrat und die Mitglieder des Kantonsrats gewaehlt; die Schweiz blickte gespannt auf die Resultate in Zuerich, auch im Hinblick auf die nationalen Wahlen im Herbst. Fuer den Kantonsrat betrug die Wahlbeteiligung 33.53% und fuer den Regierungsrat waren es 31.97%. Fuer den Regierungsrat waren 7 Sitze zu besetzen; 5 bisherige Mitglieder schafften ihre Wiederwahl. Es wurden zwei neue Regierungs- raete gewaehlt; dabei gab es eine grosse Ueberraschung. Der FDP- Kandidat Thomas Vogel wurde nicht gewaehlt, dafuer schaffte es der erst 32-jaehrige Martin Neukom von der "Gruenen Partei" in die Zuercher Regierung. Die FDP-Partei verlor damit erstmals ihren zweiten Sitz in der Regierung. Im Kantonsrat (Parlament) waren 180 Sitze zu besetzen; die bisherige buergerliche Mehrheit mit den Parteien CVP, FDP und SVP hat total 12 Sitze verloren. Die Parteien "Gruene" und "Gruenliberale (GLP)" haben offenbar von der aktuellen Klima-Diskussion profitiert; sie holen je 9 zusaetzliche Sitze im Kantonsrat. Im Kantonsrat ist die "BDP-Partei" nicht mehr vertreten, da sie in keinem Wahlkreis die 5-Prozent-Grenze schaffte. Since June 2016, this has been regulated in the Civil Law Regulation; however, there are still special cases. It is about depriving IS-fighters (Jihad-travelers) the Swiss citizenship; but this has never happened before yet. Since 2001, the Swiss intelligence (NDB) has identified 93 "Jihad travelers", 31 are Swiss and 18 of them have dual nationality. Besides, measures are required for residence and settlement permits. The SVP-National Councilor refers to other states that are cracking down severely on Jihadists with dual citizenship. Great Britain has already denaturalized at least 150 terrorists. The new Swiss Justice Minister Karin Keller-Sutter (KKS) has announced that she will initiate further passport deprivation actions; this takes some time. The Swiss firm supplies 127 trains to the "Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA)"; the order has a volume of 600 Mio. US-Dollars. The "Stadler METRO CQ400" trains are to be used at the world's largest Airport, the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The US-metropolis of Atlanta is home to "Coca- Cola" and operates one of the largest Metro systems in the USA. The new trains will be assembled at the Stadler plant in Salt Lake City. "Stadler Rail" therefore complies with the rules to provide at least 60% of the value added in the USA.
