Dentsu sold these clients, e.g. online-advertisements with excessive prices. Now another scandal at Dentsu causes outrage; it is about the suicide of the 24-years-old Dentsu employee Takashi Matsuri because of "Karoshi" (death by overwork). The young woman, a graduate of the prestigious "Tokyo University", was forced to work more than 105 hours overtime a month, or up to 30 hours per week. In social media, the Dentsu- employee complained that in their probationary period, it had been "only" 40 hours overtime per month. She said that she couldn't live on under such circumstances. Already in the year 1991, there was a similar case at Dentsu; at that time, the company fought nine years before the court against compensation claims. Then, Dentsu promised to improve the treatment of the employees. "Now the same happened again," quoted the daily newspaper "Yomiuri" an official of the Labor Ministry. This time, Dentsu accepted the verdict; according to CEO Ishii Tadashi, the company cooperates with the investigating authorities. Labor inspectors searched the headquarters of Dentsu in Tokyo in the last days. Only recently, the Abe-Government published the first "Karoshi Report"; 25% of all companies thus force their employees to work 80 hours of overtime per month or more. Dentsu, the fifth-largest advertising agency in the world, is a "Major Power" in the Japanese media world. The company has a market share of 40% in the advertising market. A periodical said, Dentsu keeps "Japan's media in the stranglehold". It is also talked about the ten strict rules of the post-war president Yoshida Hideo, according to which Dentsu is operated. At Dentsu, these are called internally the "ten devil rules". According to the report of the Ministry of Labor, there are about 100 suicides due to "Karoshi" per year; but that is just the "tip of the iceberg", says another source. Jetzt sorgt ein neuer Skandal bei Dentsu fuer Aufregung; es geht um den Selbstmord der erst 24-jaehrigen Dentsu- Mitarbeiterin Takashi Matsuri wegen "Karoshi" (Tod durch Ueberarbeitung). Die junge Frau, eine Absolventin der angesehenen "Tokyo University", wurde zu ueber 105 Stunden Ueberzeit im Monat oder bis zu 30 Ueber-Stunden pro Woche gezwungen. In sozialen Medien klagte die Dentsu-Mitarbeiterin, dass es in ihrer Probezeit "nur" 40 Ueber- Stunden pro Monat gewesen seien. Sie sagte, dass sie unter solchen Umstaenden nicht weiterleben koenne. Bereits 1991 gab es einen aehnlichen Fall bei Dentsu; damals kaempfte die Firma gegen Entschaedigungs-Forderungen neun Jahre lang vor Gericht. Diesmal akzeptiert Dentsu das Urteil; laut CEO Ishii Tadashi arbeitet die Firma mit den Untersuchungs-Behoerden zusammen. Arbeits-Inspektoren durchsuchten in den letzten Tagen den Hauptsitz von Dentsu in Tokyo. The voters turnout was 53.05%, which is 9.1% higher than 4 years ago (NHK). Yoneyama-san was supported by the "All Niigata Civil Alliance", receiving 528,455 votes; his opponent Mori Tamio, who had the support of the LDP-party, came only to 465,044 votes. "Reuters" reported on the basis of an "NHK exit poll" that 73% of the Niigata-voters are against a restart of the nuclear power plants (NPPs). The victory of an opponent of nuclear power in Niigata confirms the broad, local resistance of citizens against the atomic energy. The efforts of the Abe-Government (WSNH: Nuclear-Lobby friendly), to lead Japan gradually back again into the nuclear energy, has suffered thereby a heavy disappointment. Already in July, the journalist Mitazono Satoshi won the election as new governor of Kagoshima in Kyushu; that was already the second time that a "nuclear power opponent" was elected as governor within a short time. He has promised to shut down the two reactors of the Sendai nuclear power plant presently in operation. The newly elected Yoneyama-san wants to continue in Niigata the policy of the previous Izumida Hirohiko. The world's largest nuclear facility of "Kashiwazaki-Kariwa" is only allowed to go into operation again, if "Tepco" gives a complete explanation and discloses the real causes of the disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in 2011. Besides, there are also no evacuation plans (by Tepco) for the nuclear plant "Kashiwazaki-Kariwa". After the disaster, "Tepco" was taken over by the Japanese State by 50.1% and is at least pro forma obligated to bear the largest part of the costs of the Fukushima disaster. These costs are estimated to 10 billion Yen (CHF 95 bn) or higher. "Tepco" still fights with much problems at the destroyed nuclear power plant Fukushima. Der neu gewaehlte Yoneyama-san will in Niigata die Politik des bisherigen Izumida Hirohiko weiterfuehren. Die weltweit- groesste Atom-Anlage von "Kashiwazaki-Kariwa" darf erst wieder in Betrieb gehen, wenn "Tepco" eine vollstaendige Aufklaerung ueber die wahren Ursachen fuer die Katastrophe im Atomkraft-Werk Fukushima Daiichi im Jahr 2011 gibt und offenlegt. Es bestehen zudem keine Evakuierungsplaene (von Tepco) fuer die Atom-Anlage "Kashiwazaki- Kariwa". "Tepco" wurde vom japanischen Staat nach der Katastrophe zu 50,1% uebernommen und ist wenigstens pro forma verpflichtet den groessten Teil der Kosten der Fukushima-Katastrophe zu tragen. Diese Kosten werden auf 10 Bio. Yen (95 Mrd. CHF) oder hoeher geschaetzt. "Tepco" kaempft jedoch weiterhin mit viel Problemen beim zerstoerten AKW-Fukushima. Die Eiswand, welche unterirdisch rund um das AKW gezogen wurde, funktioniert weiterhin nicht wie geplant. Eindringendes, verstrahltes Grundwasser ist ein anderes Problem, welches "Tepco" noch nicht geloest hat.
