Now, there are recommendations to invest its savings in gold and in fact in physical gold, because securities in gold could lose their value during a crisis. At the same time, the sale of private safes has increased strongly. For 15 years (!), Japanese get no more interest on bank deposits that applies also for Government bonds and the trust in stocks was lost too. The reason for that is the "zero interest rate policy" in Japan! The distrust of the Japanese is rising; the more money the Bank of Japan (BOJ) "pumps" into the economy all the earlier the Yen could crash abruptly. According to police, the "illegal gold imports" to Japan have strongly increased in recent years. The financial fears of the Japanese population because of "Abenomics" have opened the "Yakuza" a new business field; it is the "gold smuggling". With the smuggling business, the "Yakuza" tries to avoid paying the 8% value-added tax (VAT), which is imposed on the official import of gold. Besides, there shall be customers who have trouble in explaining if they want to buy gold officially; that is good for the Yakuza-business. Now the police in Tokyo has arrested two members of the "Yakuza" (Inagawa-kai), which had smuggled in December 112 kilos of gold from Macao to Japan. The gold was transported in a private plane and it has a value of almost 500 Mio. Yen. The gold was not declared; by such a way, they wanted to bypass (avoid) 38 Mio. Yen in value-added tax (VAT). Die Japaner haben das Vertrauen in "Abenomics", das Wirtschafts- Programm von LDP-Premier Abe Shinzo (quasi) verloren; die Nachfrage nach physischem Gold ist deshalb in Japan stark gestiegen. Jetzt gibt es Empfehlungen, seine Ersparnisse in Gold anzulegen und zwar in physisches Gold, da Gold-Wertpapiere bei einer Krise ihren Wert verlieren koennten. Japaner bekommen seit 15 Jahren keine Zinsen mehr auf Bankguthaben, dies gilt ebenfalls fuer Staats-Anleihen und das Vertrauen in Aktien haben sie auch verloren. Der Grund dafuer ist die "Null-Zins-Politik" in Japan! Das Misstrauen der Japaner steigt; je mehr Geld die Bank of Japan (BOJ) in die Wirtschaft "pumpt" umso frueher koennte der Yen abrupt abstuerzen. Laut Angaben der Polizei hat die "illegale Gold-Einfuhr" nach Japan stark zugenommen in den letzten Jahren. Die finanziellen Aengste der japanischen Bevoelkerung wegen Abenomics, haben der "Yakuza" ein neues Geschaefts- feld eroeffnet; es ist der "Gold-Schmuggel". Die Yakuza umgeht mit dem Schmuggel-Geschaeft die 8% Prozent Mehrwert-Steuer (VAT), welche auf dem offiziellen Import von Gold berechnet wird. Die Angst um die Zukunft von "Abenomics", fuehrt zu mehr Gold-Kaeufen der Japaner. Zudem soll es Kunden geben, welche "Erklaerungs-Not" haetten, wenn sie ihr Gold offiziell kaufen wollten; dies kommt der "Yakuza" entgegen. Jetzt hat die Polizei in Tokyo zwei Mitglieder der "Yakuza" (Imagawa- kai) verhaftet, welche im Dezember 112 Kilo Gold von Macao nach Japan geschmuggelt hatten. He said: "Cheap-copies, Made in China, are today better than the expensive (genuine) original articles." Jack Ma has been criticized for a long time; it is said that on his marketplace (e.g. Taobao), a "consumer- to-consumer" platform faked products are sold. The accusations come from various luxury products groups, such as "Kering". The owners of the brands "Gucci" and "Bottega Veneta" have filed a suit against "Alibaba" last year. The latest statements of Alibaba's Jack Ma intensify the "Anti-Alibaba" sentiment of the Western luxury products industry even more. In his speech at the "Alibaba headquarters" in China, Jack Ma shall also have said that local Chinese manufacturers are gradually dissatisfied with the international division of labor. The Chinese produce high-quality products, but the brand owners only pocket most of money. Ma's speech made the luxury brands "stunned"; that is the statement of the founder of a luxury Italian products group quoted by the "Financial Times". Even in China, the statements of Jack Ma were not received with sympathy. The director of the "China E-Commerce Research Center" said, according to "Bloomberg", that "it isn't appropriate that a person with the status of Jack Ma says something like that". Jack Ma soll ausserdem gesagt haben, dass chinesische Hersteller langsam unzufrieden seien, mit der internationalen Arbeitsteilung. Sie (die Chinesen) produzierten qualitativ hochstehende Produkte, die Markenbesitzer wuerden jedoch das meiste Geld einstecken. Ma's Rede mache die Luxus-Marken "fassungslos", wird der Gruender einer italienischen Luxus-Gueter-Gruppe von der "Financial Times" zitiert. Sogar in China zeigte man fuer die Aussagen von Jack Ma kein Verstaendnis. Der Leiter des "China E-Commerce Research Center" sagte laut "Bloomberg", dass es "nicht angebracht sei, dass eine Person mit dem Status von Jack Ma so etwas sage". At present, there are however more and major differences in economic matters between the two countries. Merkel is accompanied by six ministers, among them the foreign- and finance ministers, five State Secretaries and a high-ranking economic delegation of entrepreneurs. During the three-days visit, Merkel has signed 24 agreements, including economic contracts in the amount of EUR 2.7 billion! Besides the "4th Sino-German Government Consultations" in Beijing, Merkel visited a factory of the German automotive group "BMW" in Shenyang. At the University of Nanjing, Merkel was awarded with the "Honorary Doctor degree"; in her speech, Merkel said "Progress needs Freedom", this is seen as a "mild criticism" of the Chinese Government. The "powerful" in China however don't share that view. The "atmosphere" between Germany and China is still friendlier than that between China and the United States is reported. The territorial dispute of China and the United States at the South-China Sea is only of marginal interest for Germany. Furthermore, the German Chancellor urged the Chinese Government not to restrict the work of foreign Non- Governmental-Organizations (NGO's). This is in view of a law that shall enter into force in China in 2017. Merkel ist in Begleitung von sechs Ministern, darunter sind der Aussen- und Finanz- Minister, fuenf Staats-Sekretaere sowie eine hoch-rangige Wirtschafts- Delegation aus Unternehmern. Waehrend des drei-taegigen Besuchs hat Merkel 24 Abkommen abgeschlossen, darunter Wirtschafts-Vertraege im Umfang von 2,7 Mrd. Euro! Ausser den "4. deutsch-chinesischen Regierungs-Konsultationen" in Peking, besucht Merkel eine Fabrik des deutschen Automobil-Konzerns "BMW" in Shenyang. An der Universitaet Nanjing wurde Merkel die "Ehren-Doktor-Wuerde" verliehen; in ihrer Rede sagte Merkel "Fortschritt braucht Freiheit", dies wird als "milde Kritik" an der Regierung in China gesehen. Die "Maechtigen" in China teilen diese Ansicht jedoch nicht. Das "Klima" zwischen Deutschland und China sei immer noch freundlicher, als jenes zwischen China und den USA wird berichtet. Den Territorial-Streit von China und den USA im Sued-Chinesischen Meer interessiert Deutschland nur am Rande (nebenbei). Weiter forderte die deutsche Kanzlerin China's Regierung auf, die Arbeit von auslaendischen Nicht-Regierungs-Organisationen nicht zu begrenzen.
