According to "SRF- Weather News" of November 13, 2015, it is possible that there will be some rainfall in the evening. It would be the first rain in November. The amount of rain would however be very modest and the enormous dryness will continue. Since October 29, 2015 that is more than 3 weeks, there was no more rain at most of the places. Much worse however was the long lasting dryness; the summer 2015 and 2013 were the driest periods for a long time. The drought period in Switzerland goes on now already for more than five months; September and October 2015 were also much too dry in the North of Switzerland. The Swiss weather is presently dominated by a "Permanent High-Pressure-Zone" in the past days and weeks, the inner land Switzerland experienced a sea, a so-called "sea of fog". Then, there was sunshine on the mountains and on lower ground fog. Thanks to the thick and tenacious fog, the air humidity reached 100% in the fog-air. Water from the fog moistened the ground and the farmers were very glad about it. According to the weather forecast, there is a possibility that a "West-wind flow" can enforce itself from the middle of next week. Low-Pressure-front from the Atlantic Ocean could then finally bring rain to the middle of Europe. It was reported that water sources at the Zurich Oberland had already partly dried out because there was no sufficient rain for 4 months. In case the dryness would continue then the water-reservoirs have to be refilled by tank lorry and that would be very expensive. In the Canton of Zug (Aegerital-Valley), the water shortage is described as very serious; only just 40% of the water sources supply water at present. Now, water has to be removed from the "Lake of Aegeri". According to the well-technician in Unteraegeri, "weeks-long" rainfalls are needed in order to normally refill the sources. The heat-period of summer 2015 was described as an "extreme-event"; it is however another sign for "man-made" caused climate change. Die Regen-Menge wird jedoch sehr bescheiden sein und die grosse Trockenheit werde weiter anhalten. Seit dem 29. Laut der Wetter-Vorhersage kann sich moeglicherweise eine West-Wind- Stroemung ab ca. Mitte naechster Woche durchsetzen; Tief-Druck-Gebiete aus dem Atlantik koennten dann endlich Regen nach Mittel-Europa bringen. Es wurde gemeldet, dass Wasser-Quellen im Zuercher Oberland teilweise bereits versiegt (ausgetrocknet) seien, weil es seit 4 Monaten nicht mehr richtig geregnet hat. Falls die Trockenheit weiter bleibt, dann muessten Wasser-Speicher (Reservoir) mit Tanklast-Wagen aufgefuellt werden und dies waere sehr teuer. Im Aegerital im Kanton Zug sei die Wasser-Knappheit dramatisch; nur noch 40% der Wasser- Quellen liefern derzeit noch Wasser. Jetzt muesse auch Wasser aus dem "Aegerisee" entnommen werden. Laut dem Brunnen-Meister in Unteraegeri waeren jetzt "Wochen-lange" Regenfaelle noetig und die Quellen wieder normal zu fuellen. The 38-years old Tunisian wanted to enter Italy based on a false identity and disguised as asylum seeker. According to the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" the Tunisian was a member of an Islamic organization; he pretended to be a "politically persecuted" person when questioned by the authorities. He said that he wanted to journey on to relatives in the North of Europe. He had arrived in Italy (Lampedusa) already on October 4, 2015 from Libya. The authorities however retained the information for a couple of days in order to avoid panic. The police had been warned by the authorities in Tunisia and the terrorist was identified based on fingerprints. The man was deported to Tunisia together with three people smugglers. The Italian intelligence service considers the Tunisian as particularly dangerous because he is accustomed to handle explosives. He had been convicted to seven years in prison already once in the year 2008 and was then deported to Tunisia. According to the Italian newspaper that case would confirm the speculation that terrorists use the same boats as refugees. The newspaper describes that as "worrying assumption"; political circles in Italy have again and again claimed that "Crowds of Terrorists" would sit in the refugee-boats. So fare, there was however no evidence for such a claim. They paralyzed about 300 construction sites in Zurich, Basle and Berne. The labor unions organized the strike even though a ban on strikes is stipulated in the "Country Collective Labor Agreement" with the Contractors' Association. The protest is about the signing of a new GAV (Collective Labor Agreement), the retirement (benefit) at the age of 60 as well as the protection in case of bad-weather and against wage-dumping. The matter of early retirement (benefit) at the age of 60 is about the funding; the labor unions refuse the proposals of the Contractors. Many building labors at the age of 60 years continue to work as "Early Retirees" on a private basis, according to several construction companies. The labor unions request that the Contractors take over 80% of the extra costs for the early retirement (benefit). There is a major anger among smaller construction companies in Central Switzerland about the Unia. They accuse the Unia of violating the social partnership. Regarding to the wage-dumping, a better control of the "wage- and working conditions" for the building labors is requested.
