The subsidiary, a <3M Supply Chain Center of Expertise/CoE>, will be opened in April 2013 and is probably going to move into the present <Roche-Building>. <Roche> will close its factory in Burgdorf gradually up to 2013. The company <3M> will concentrate with the new business unit working places in Switzerland, which were previously located in various European countries. <3M> is going to settle down in Switzerland respectively in the Canton of Berne because the country is called an attractive place of work. The enterprise <3M Schweiz AG> celebrated this year its 50th anniversary; the company called <Berne> a good location for an international <business Hub>. Recently, two other international groups, <Alliance Boots> and <Walgreens> had newly moved to the Canton of Berne. The exit of business turnover amounting to 7-8 billion Swiss Francs leads in the Switzerland to the result that up to 21,500 working places will be superfluous. Particularly affected by that development are the Swiss border regions; the turnover at the Swiss Retail Trade has declined and the Christmas Business Season probably cannot change it. The Chief-Economist of <Credit-Suisse> estimates the volume of the shopping abroad (in Euroland) on presently about 6 Bn. Swiss Francs. The statistics shows that the unemployment figure in the Swiss Retail Trade is increasing for months. Groesste Solar-Anlage der Schweiz wird gebaut. The solar-plant will be built on the roof of the <Migros-Distribution-Center> in Neuenhof (Canton Solothurn). The solar panels will be supplied and installed by next spring-time; the surface of the solar-plant corresponds to nearly seven football-pitches and the plant will produce electricity for about 1,000 one-family-houses. The start of operation and the connection to the public grid is planned for summer 2013. With the solar-plant one sixth of the current demand of the distribution center can be covered. On the roofs of Migros Co-Operative buildings already today 24 solar plants are installed. With that action <Migros> shows its commitment to use renewable energy-sources. With its own <sustainability program> called <Generation M>, Migros engages further to promote renewable energies. Das Schweizer Einzelhandels-Unternehmen <Migros>, eine Genossenschaft erhielt die Baubewilligung fuer die groesste Photovoltaik-Anlage (Solaranlage) der Schweiz. Die Solar-Anlage wird auf dem Dach des <Migros-Verteil-Zentrums> Neuenhof (Kanton Solothurn) erstellt. Die Solar-Panels werden im naechsten Fruehjahr geliefert und montiert; die Flaeche der Solar-Anlage entspricht beinahe sieben Fussball- Feldern und die Anlage wird Strom fuer zirka 1'000 Einfamilien-Haeuser produzieren. Die Inbetriebnahme und der Anschluss an das oeffentliche Strom-Netz ist fuer den Sommer 2013 geplant. Mit der Solar-Anlage kann ein Sechstel des Strom-Bedarfs des Verteil-Zentrums gedeckt werden. Auf Daechern der Migros-Genossenschaft sind bereits heute 24 Solar- Anlagen installiert. Damit zeigt die <Migros> ihren Willen erneuerbare Energie-Quellen zu nutzen, wie sie schreibt. Zuerich: Auszeichnung fuer Energie-Effizienz durch Abfall. カントン・ツューリッヒ最大で最新のゴミ処理施設「KVAハーゲンホルツ」 がスイスドイツ語圏で「エネルギー効率最高」の施設に選ばれた。ハーゲン ホルツの設備は2億5千万スイスフランが投じられ、年間23万トンのゴミが処 理されている。そこから生じたエネルギーの70%が地域暖房や電力に変換さ れている。即ち年間40万メガワットの地域暖房電源を発電し、ツューリッヒ 北部8万戸の住宅に電力を供給している。更に94,000メガワットのクリーンな 電力が送電網に送られている。ゴミからの発電はカントン・ツューリッヒで は重要な再生可能エネルギー源で、現在電力需要の4%を賄っている。技術力 の向上で発電量は2035年までに35%まで増加する余地がある。「都市鉱山」の 観点から、ゴミから多くの貴重な資源も抽出出来る。 （出典：2012年12月1日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） The biggest and most moderne waste incineration plant of the Canton of Zurich <KVA Hagenholz> was awarded as the most <energy efficient> plant in the German part of Switzerland; investments of up to 250 Mio. Swiss Francs were made into the plant and 230,000 tons of waste are recycled per year at the site. The energy that is generated out of the waste, 70% of it is changed into community heating or in electricity. Per year, therefore a total of 400,000 megawatt community heating is produced and 80,000 domiciles are supplied with it in Zurich-North. Additionally, another 94,000 megawatt clean electricity are supplied to the grid. The power generation out of waste is the most important renewable energy source in the Canton of Zurich; presently, 4% of the energy supply is covered out of it. With a better use of the technical possibilities, the power generation can be increased to 35% up to 2035. Within the scope of <Urban Mining>, besides out of the waste lots of valuable raw materials can be extracted. Die groesste und modernste Kehricht-Verwertungsanlage des Kantons Zuerich <KVA Hagenholz> wurde als <Energie-Effizienteste> Anlage der Deutschweiz ausgezeichnet; in die Anlage <Hagenholz> wurde 250 Mio. CHF investiert und pro Jahr werden hier 230'000 Tonnen Abfall verwertet. Daraus werden 70% der entstehenden Energie in Fern-Waerme oder in Elektrizitaet umgewandelt. Pro Jahr wird somit 400'000 Megawatt Fern-Waerme hergestellt und es werden 80'000 Wohnung in Zuerich-Nord beliefert. Zusaetzlich werden noch 94'000 Megawatt sauberen Strom ins Netz eingeliefert. Die Strom-Erzeugung aus Abfall (Kehricht) ist die bedeutendste erneuerbare Energie-Quelle im Kanton Zuerich; derzeit wird damit 4% des Strom-Bedarfs gedeckt. Bei einer besseren Nutzung der technischen Moeglichkeiten kann die Strom- Produktion auf 35% gesteigert werden bis 2035. Im Rahmen des <Urban Mining> koennen zudem aus dem Abfall viele wertvolle Rohstoffe gewonnen werden. The developed special sensors and a technology; based on it the end-product <Xovis PTS, person tracking system> was built. With the new-kind of system movements of people can be monitored, measured and steered; the system is operated particularly at airports, railway stations, shops etc. The system displays people as red points so that no problem occurs regarding to data privacy. The Swiss invention is already in operation at different airports in Europe such as in Zurich, Frankfurt Main, Munich and in Vienna. With the system waiting lines can be avoided and in shops, the customer routes can be traced. There are further fields of application; the company <Xovis AG> was recently awarded with the <De-Vigier> Promotion Prize. The system <Xovis> is based on <numerical counting sensors>. Vor vier Jahren haben zwei Berner, ein Elektroniker und ein ETH- Elektro-Ingenieur im Rahmen einer <Start-Up> Firma eine ausserordentlich, innovative Erfindung gemacht. Sie entwickelten spezielle Sensoren und eine Technologie, welche jetzt im End-Produkt des <Xovis PTS, person tracking system> abgebildet wird. Mit dem neu-artigen System lassen sich Personen-Bewegungen ueberwachen, messen und steuern; das System kommt insbesondere an Flughaefen, Bahnstationen, Einkaufsgeschaeften usw. zum Einsatz. Das System bildet die Menschen als rote Punkte ab, sodass kein Problem mit dem Datenschutz entsteht. Japan: Zaehlt nur die Verpackung, auch in der Politik? 日本パッケージングコンテストの様々な賞で、包装に関する非常に革新的な 発明に対して多くの賞が授与された。日本は「包装国家」と称され、高度で 目的別の梱包に関しては「世界最高峰」である事は疑う余地が無い。だが、 包装が中身より重要な場合もよくある事で、日本政治にも当て嵌まる事なの か？日本で新しい政治運動を始めようとする場合、政党が認可されるには最 低5人以上の所属する国会議員が必要だ。既存の政党はこの規則で、新しい政 治勢力を権力から遠ざけようとしている。その為、現職の国会議員が頻繁に 新党を立ち上げる。党は新しいが、顔は古い。党の中には「計画が無い」と ころも多く、人気取りのスローガン一つだけ。「政権公約」を殆ど履行しな い党が幾つかある。橋下徹の「右派の大衆政党」は福島の後、「核エネルギ ー賛成か反対か」を数え切れない程主張を変えている。この程彼は、80歳の 石原慎太郎の新党と合流した。彼の党名は1965年に発表した自分の小説を基 に「太陽の党」にした。小党「立ちあがれ日本」については、「起き上がれ 日本」という言葉遊びがある。悪意の有るこの言葉は、高齢の所属議員が「 未だ立ちあがれるのか」と問うている。 （出典：2012年11月27日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） Within the scope of the <Japan Packaging Contest 2012> numerous awards for many, very innovative inventions in the field of packaging were given (see Links). Japan is called the <Country of Packaging> and the high quality and functional packagings are without doubt <World Top>. Often even the packaging is more important than the contents; is that also true for the Japanese Politics? When a political movement in Japan wants to get the authorization as political party, it needs to have at least five deputies of the National Parliament. With that rule existing political parties (establishment) intend to keep away new <political groups> from power; therefore often established deputies are founding <new parties>. The parties are <new>, the faces (people) however are the <old> ones. Certain parties have often <no programs>, only <populist> <single catch phrases>; election pledges are seldom kept by certain parties. After Fukushima, the <right-wing populist group> of Hashimoto Toru has changed its opinon already <countless> times <for or against nuclear power energy>. Now, it has merged with the new party of the 80-years old Ishihara Shintaro; the name of his party <sunrise> (Taiyo no To) is orginated from his novel title back in 1956. With regard to the <small party> <Tachiagare Nippon> (Stand up, Japan) there shall be a wordplay with the phrase <Stand-up party>; <wicked> voices shall have wondered whether the <aged> party members are still able to <stand up>. Japan wird als <Land der Verpackungen> bezeichnet und die qualitativ hochstehenden und zweckmaessigen Verpackungen sind zweifellos <Welt-Spitze>. Oft ist sogar die Verpackung wichtiger als der Inhalt; gilt dies ebenfalls fuer die japanische Politik? Damit eine politische Bewegung in Japan als Partei zugelassen wird, braucht es wenigstens fuenf Parlamentarier des nationalen Parlamentes. Damit wollen existierende, politische Parteien (Establishment) neue <politische Gruppen> von der Macht fernhalten; haeufig gruenden deshalb bisherige Abgeordnete <neue Parteien>. Die Parteien sind <neu>, die Gesichter (Personen) sind jedoch die <alten>. Gewisse Parteien haben oft <keine Programme>, nur <populistische> Einzel-Schlagworte (Slogans); an <Wahlversprechen> halten sich gewisse Parteien kaum. Die <rechts- populistische Gruppe> von Hashimoto Toru hat nach Fukushima schon <<unzaehlige>> Male ihre Meinung <<fuer oder gegen die Atom-Energie>> geaendert. The access to the temple had become very touristic and outside of the temple it was very crowded with people. At the time, there were lots of Japanese school excursions there; their guides were often local taxi drivers. That has become a precious business opportunity for them. Furthermore, part of the temple was under renovation work; that's why we went back home, besides the weather was hot and humid. Maybe, it is recommended to visit there early in the morning.
