Behandelt Italien japanische Feriengaeste soo? (Fri. 27.07.2009 Smi) 日本人の夫婦がローマのレストランで受けた扱いについて、日本のメディア はこの数週間大きく報道している。ローマの有名なレストラン「パセット」 で日本人の観光客が昼食代に合計694ユーロ（飲食代：579.50、チップ： 115.50ユーロ）を請求された。客は驚愕し、怒り、そして警察に通報した。 このような高額（約9万4千円）の請求は「ぼったくり」とされ、市長は同レ ストランから許可証を取り上げるよう要請した。レストランはただちにに閉 められ、経営者は訴えられたが、経営者は無罪を主張している。その間にも 日本人の観光客が、イタリア観光における料金の高さ、サーヴィスの悪さ、 不充分な公共設備などについて不満を述べた。観光大臣はその後日本人夫妻 に公開書簡で公式に謝罪し、イタリア政府はそれなりの措置を取る方針であ るとし、該当の日本人夫婦を政府の予算でローマに招待した。イタリアを訪 れる日本人観光客は減少しており、ピークの1997年には220万人だったが、 2009年はほぼ 100万人と推定されている。 （2009年7月24日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙より） The treatment of a Japanese couple at a restaurant in Rome made headlines at Japanese media for weeks! The Japanese tourists paid for a meal at lunchtime at the famous restaurant Passetto in Rome a bill with a total of 695 Euro; 579.50 Euro for meal/beverages and 115.50 Euro as tip! The guests were shocked and outraged; they informed the police about the incident. The bill with that extreme amount (about Yen 94,000) was considered as <rip-off> (to diddle somebody). The Mayor requested that the restaurant should be deprived of its licence; the <eatery> was closed immediately and charges were filed against the owner. The owner acted the innocent. In the meantime, other tourists from Japan complained about high prices, bad service and the insufficient touristic infrastructure in Italy. The Minister of Tourism has officially apologized to the Japanese couple in a public letter. The Italian government intends to take appropriate measures; the <deceived> couple was invited to Rome at the expense of the government. Increasingly less Japanese visit Italy; for 2009 about one million visitors from Japan are expected. 1997 nearly 2,2 million people visited the country. In japanischen Medien machte die Behandlung eines japanischen Ehepaars in einem Restaurant in Rom waehrend Wochen Schlagzeilen! Die japanischen Touristen bezahlten fuer ein Essen am Mittag im bekannten Restaurant Passetto in Rom eine Rechnung ueber total 695 Euro; 579.50 Euro fuer Essen/Getraenke und 115.50 Euro Trinkgeld! Die Gaeste waren schockiert und empoert; sie meldeten den Vorfall der Polizei. Die Rechnung in dieser extremen Hoehe (ca. Yen 94 000) wurde als <Abzockerei> (uebers Ohr hauen) empfunden. Der Buergermeister forderte, dass dem Restaurant die Lizenz zu entziehen sei; das Lokal wurde sogleich geschlossen und gegen den Besitzer Anzeige erstattet. Der Besitzer gab sich unschuldig. Inzwischen beklagten sich weitere Touristen aus Japan ueber die hohen Preise, den schlechten Service und die ungenuegende Infrastruktur im Tourismus in Italien. Die Tourismusministerin hat sich darauf offiziell in einem oeffentlichen Brief beim japanische Ehepaar entschuldigt. Die Regierung in Italien will entsprechende Massnahmen ergreifen; das <betrogene> Ehepaar wird auf Kosten der Regierung nach Rom eingeladen. Immer weniger Japaner besuchen Italien; fuer 2009 werden noch zirka 1 Mio. Besucher aus Japan erwartet. 1997 waren es fast 2,2 Mio. Leute. The hailstones reached the size of <pingpong-balls> depending on the region; the thunderstorm caused major damage, people were however not injured. The Swiss Hail Insurance expects damages amounting to about 20 Mio. Sfr. in the field of agriculture. Particularly affected were the cantons of Berne, Fribourg and Vaud; but also the Central Part of Switzerland. Hurricane gusts reached a speed of up to 154 km/per hour. The thunder clouds came from France; according to <MeteoNews> such kind of strong thunderstorms should happen only once a year. Am Donnerstag-Nachmittag raste eine schreckliche Gewitterfront mit Sturm, Hagel und Regen ueber die Schweiz. Die Hagelkoerner erreichten gebietsweise die Groesse von <Pingpong-Baellen>; das Unwetter verursachte grossen Schaden, Menschen wurden jedoch nicht verletzt. In der Landwirtschaft erwartet die Schweizerische Hagelversicherung Schaeden in der Hoehe von zirka 20 Mio. Sfr. Besonders betroffen waren die Kantone Bern, Freiburg und Waadt; aber auch das Mittelland. Orkanboeen erreichten Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 154 km/pro Stunde. Die Gewitterwolken kamen von Frankreich her; gemaess <MeteoNews> sollte es so heftige Unwetter nur einmal im Jahr geben. The <Matterhorn> was elected together with 27 other curiosities by the jury of the organization <New7Wonders> under the leadership of the former Unesco director Federico Mayor. In Europe, the destinations of <Black Forest>, the mountain <Vesuv> as well as one location in Ireland and Poland reached the finals. Zermatt on the foot of the famous mountain was very pleased about that result. The initiative <New7Wonders> was founded by the Swiss adventurer Bernard Weber; through Internet, he collected since 2007 441 nominations. Everyone is invited to vote in a public process by Internet, Telephone or SMS the seven winners (New7Wonders) up to 2011. Das einmalige Wunder der Schoepfung, das Schweizer Wahrzeichen <Matterhorn> erreichte bei der Wahl fuer die <neuen sieben Naturwunder> den Final. Das <Matterhorn> wurde zusammen mit 27 weiteren Sehenswuerdigkeiten von der Jury der Organisation <New7Wonders> unter der Leitung des ehemaligen Unesco-Direktors Federico Mayor ausgewaehlt. Aus Europa kamen ebenfalls der <Schwarzwald>, der Berg <Vesuv> sowie je ein Ort in Irland und Polen in den Final; Zermatt am Fuss des beruehmten Berges freut sich sehr ueber dieses Ergebnis. It is a <high- tech> enterprise providing presently 150 working places. It was equipped by the Swiss enterprise OC Oerlikon and the production is based on that company's <proven end to end thin-film silicon PV solutions> (thin-film photovoltaics) technology to manufacture solar modules. That production plant is presently the most advanced factory of its kind according to OC Oerlikon. The products on the basis of the technology of <Oerlikon Solar> are <the Best>, what one can buy in the industry. The investment into the new factory amounted to about 120 Mio. Sfr.; the town of Locarno invested 3,5 Mio. Sfr, whereas besides tax reductions were allowed. In Riazzino bei Locarno (Suedschweiz) nahm diese Woche die groesste Solarmodul-Fabrik in der Schweiz ihre Produktion auf; die gehoert als Tochtergesellschaft zur italienischen Pramac-Gruppe. Es handelt sich um ein <High-Tech> Unternehmen mit derzeit 150 Arbeitsplaetzen; ausgeruestet vom Schweizer Unternehmen OC Oerlikon, werden nach deren Duennschicht-Fotovoltaik Technologie, Solarmodule hergestellt. Diese Produktionsanlage ist nach Angaben von OC Oerlikon, die derzeit modernste Fabrik ihrer Art. Die Produkte auf Basis der Technologie von <Oerlikon Solar> sind das <Beste>, was man in der Industrie kaufen kann. Die Investitionen in die neue Fabrik betrugen zirka 120 Mio. He owns a fortune of about 4,5 billion Swiss Francs; the 53-years-old was the owner of the Supermarket chain RIMI in Norway. He explained the reason for his relocation at the main news program of the channel TV2 (in Norway); he said that he pays too much wealth tax in his country because of the red-green government. He had caused headlines already on different occasions in Norway; shortly before the parliament elections, his action caused lots of talking in the country. In 2007, he paid about two million Swiss Francs in taxes in Norway; that can be seen at the tax register, which is open to the public at the Internet!! According to the US-Magazine <Forbes>, he is among the 350 richest people of the world. In Zurich, he has already purchased a real estate and handled all the necessary matters with the authorities. Der zweit-reichste Mann von Norwegen, Stein Erik Hagen kehrt seinem Land den Ruecken und laesst sich mit seiner Familie und vier Kindern in der Schweiz, das heisst in Zuerich nieder. Er verfuegt ueber ein Vermoegen von zirka 4,5 Milliarden Schweizer Franken; der 53- jaehrige war Besitzer der Supermarktkette RIMI in Norwegen. Seinen Umzug begruendete er in der Hauptnachrichten Sendung von TV2 damit, dass er im Land zu viel Vemoegenssteuern bezahlen muesse und dies wegen der rot-gruenen Regierung. Er verursachte in Norwegen schon verschiedentlich Schlagzeilen; kurz vor den Parlamentswahlen gibt sein Vorgehen viel zu reden im Land. Er bezahlte im Jahr 2007 in Norwegen zirka zwei Millionen Franken an Steuern; dies kann man dem norwegischen Steuerregister entnehmen, welches oeffentlich im Internet einsehbar ist! That proceedings will be operative as from Thursday, July 30, 2009; departing passengers will be directed then to the 20 <Self-Check-in> machines. <Economy-Class> passengers shall confirm their flight, select their seats and print out the luggage voucher. The use of the machines shall be the rule (standard) in the future and not anymore the operated counter!! For <First-Class> and <Business-Class> passengers <Check-in> counters will be still provided. It is the target, that all <Economy-Class> passengers (if possible) do the <Check-in> at the machines; for passengers with little travel experience support shall be provided or they could be served at the counter. According to <Swiss>, thanks to the use of the machines, the waiting time shall be shortened; <cost saving> reasons shall not be in the focus of that campaign. By the end of autumn, the test period with the machines will be analyzed. Die Fluggesellschaft <Swiss> draengt ihre Fluggaeste der <Economy- Class> zum selbstaendigen <Check-in> an die Selbstbedienungs- Automaten in der <Check-in Zone 1) am Flughafen Kloten!! Dieses Vorgehen wird ab Donnerstag, 30. Juli 2009 wirksam; abfliegende Passagiere werden dann an die 20 <Self-Check-in> Automaten gewiesen. <Economy-Class> Fluggaeste sollen dabei ihren Flug bestaetigen, den Sitzplatz aussuchen und die Gepaeck-Karte ausdrucken. Die Benuetzung der Automaten soll in Zukunft die Regel werden und nicht mehr der bediente Schalter!! Fuer <First-Class> und <Business-Class> Passagiere stehen weiterhin die <Check-in> Schalter zur Verfuegung. Es ist das Ziel, dass moeglichst alle <Economy-Class> Passagiere an den Automaten das <Check-in> erledigten; fuer Passagiere mit wenig Reiseerfahrung soll es Hilfe geben oder sie koennten noch am Schalter bedient werden. Gemaess <Swiss> sollen sich <dank> dem Gebrauch der Automaten die Wartezeiten verkuerzen; <Spargruende> sollen dabei nicht im Mittelpunkt stehen. Swiss Media) http://www.zurich-airport.com/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-83/ http://www.swiss.com/web/DE/services/checkin/Pages/checkin_overview.aspx 7) ツューリッヒ郵便センター、海外の小包検査 Postal Centre Zurich checks shipments from abroad Postzentrum Zuerich prueft Auslandsendungen (Fri. 24.07.2009 Smi) ツューリッヒ・ミュリゲンにあるスイス・ポストの郵便センターでは、外国 から送られてきた全ての封書と小包を処理している。毎日処理されるおよそ 70万個の郵便物のうち、約35,000個が2kg以下の小包。税関では外国から届 いた封書と小包を検査しており、毎日およそ500個から600個検査している。 彼等専門家は違法行為が予想される地域や国を知悉している。南アメリカか らは麻薬が密輸され、アジアからは違法な薬品が、中東やバルカン諸国から は麻薬の他に偽造書類が送られて来る。税関では毎年特別重点検査を行って おり、偽造された外国の運転免許証や旅券などが発見されている。麻薬の探 知には、特別に訓練された麻薬・爆薬犬が出動、又はイオン移動度分光計が 使われている。2009年上半期で130個の麻薬が見つかった。小包も又レント ゲンで検査される。（出典：2009年7月24日付ターゲス・アンツァイガー紙） At the postal centre of the Swiss Post in Zurich-Muelligen all letter- and small parcels arriving from abroad are handled; daily, there are about 700,000 items, about 35,000 of them, are shipments of goods of up to 2 kilograms. The customs authorities check arriving letters and parcels from abroad; daily about 500 to 600 shipments are checked. The specialists know the regions and countries, of which one has to expect illegal activities. From South America, drugs are smuggeled, from Asia illegal medicines are coming and from the Middle East and the Balkans, besides drugs, faked dokuments are shipped. The customs conduct anually special <main focus> investigations; they discover faked foreign driver's licence, passports etc. For the search of illegal narcotics specially trained sniffer dogs regarding to narcotics and explosives are in operation or a so-called <ion mobility spectrometer(IMS)>; in the first six months of 2009, 130 parcels with drugs were found. Parcels are checked with <X-Ray systems> too. Am Briefpostzentrum der Schweizer Post in Zuerich-Muelligen werden alle Brief- und Kleinpakete aus dem Ausland verarbeitet; taeglich sind dies zirka 700 000 Stueck, davon ungefaehr 35 000 Warensendungen bis zu 2 Kilogramm. Die Zollbehoerden pruefen aus dem Ausland ankommende Briefe und Pakete; untersucht werden taeglich zirka 500 bis 600 Sendungen. Die Spezialisten kennen die Regionen und Laender, aus welchen mit illegalen Aktivitaeten zu rechnen ist. Aus Suedamerika werden Drogen geschmuggelt, aus Asien kommen illegale Medikamente und aus dem Nahen Osten sowie Balkan sind es ausser Drogen gefaelschte Dokumente. Der Zoll fuehrt jaehrlich besondere Schwerpunkt-Kontrollen durch; entdeckt werden gefaelschte auslaendische Fuehrerausweise, Reisepaesse usw. Fuer die Suche nach Drogen sind speziell ausgebildete Drogen- und Sprengstoff-Spuerhunde im Einsatz oder ein so-genannter <Ionen-Mobilitaets-Spektrometer> (IMS); im ersten Halbjahr 2009 wurden 130 Pakete mit Drogen gefunden. Pakete werden ebenfalls mit Roentgensysteme (X-Ray) untersucht. Election day is August 30 and the election campaign officially starts as from August, 18. The presently (still) governing party LDP presents itself to the Japanese citizens as a grouping, which is among themselves at odds with each others. According to opinion polls, it is difficult yet to outperform the <unpopularity> of Aso Taro; among the LDP many members shall have resigned oneself to the defeat already. The chairman of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), Hatoyama Yukio called the coming election, a <historic mission> (duty) to put an end to the endless regime of the LDP! At the Lower House, 480 seats have to be filled; 300 seats are in a single constituency and 180 mandates are based on the proportional representation election system. Mit dem Verlesen des kaiserlichen Reskript (Antwortschreiben) durch den Sprecher des Unterhauses Kono Yohei, wurde das japanische Unterhaus offiziell aufgeloest; auf die Verlautbarung wurde traditionell mit lauten <Banzai-Rufen> geantwortet. Wahltag ist der 30. August und ab dem 18. August beginnt der Wahlkampf offiziell. Die derzeit (noch) regierende Partei LDP praesentiert sich den japanischen Buergern als eine Gruppierung, welche unter sich zerstritten ist. Gemaess Meinungsumfrage ist es schwierig die <Unbeliebtheit> von Aso Taro noch zu ueberbieten; innerhalb der LDP sollen sich viele mit der Niederlage bereits abgefunden haben. Upon check-in at our Ryokan, we mentioned that we would like to buy Japanese seeds e.g. kitchen herbs etc., asking for the address of a nearby gardenshop. The retired owner (goinkyo-san) of the Ryokan kindly brought us by car to a gardenshop outside of the town. They had an enormous choice of Japanese seeds; afterwards <goinkyo-san> kindly wanted to show us his own private garden, where he planted all kind of beautiful Japanese vegetables. He picked up some of them and we served them for dinner in the evening. Coming back to the Ryokan, we had to hurry up taking bath in order not to be late for dinner. Gradually, the other guests were arriving; each room has its own spa, but additionally, <Kazoku-o-furo> are available too.
