(Tue. 09.10.2012 Smi) 謙虚だが明確なビジョンを持つと評される日本の研究者で医師の山中伸弥 教授は、幹細胞研究（iPS細胞）で2012年のノーベル医学賞を受賞した。山 中博士は京都大学「iPS 細胞研究所所長」で、2006年「普通の体細胞」を 使って胚幹細胞（ES細胞）の特性を持つiPS細胞の製造を可能にした研究で 知られる。山中博士の発見で、将来「iPS細胞」で目、皮膚、筋肉等の臓器 移植が出来るよう期待されている。英国のジョン・ゴードン博士も山中博 士と同時に1960年代の同じ分野の研究で受賞する。彼の恩師はジュネーヴ 大学のミヒャエル・フィッシュベルク教授。 （出典：2012年10月9日付ターゲス・アン ツァイガー紙） The modest, but however visionary Japanese researcher and doctor Yamanaka Shinya was awarded with the <Noble Prize 2012> in Medicine for his epoch-making research in the field of stem cells research (iPS-cells). Dr. Yamanaka is the head of the <Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA)> at the University of Kyoto (Japan). The Japanese researcher recognized in 2006 during his research work that it was possible to generate out of <ordinary somatic cells> so- called <iPS-cells>, which had the feature of <embryonic stem cells>. Thanks to the invention of Dr. Yamanaka, there is hope to replace with <iPS-cells> organ transplants for eyes, skin, muscles etc. in the future. The Briton John Gurdon was awarded simultaneously with Dr. Yamanaka for his research on the same field in the sixties; his doctor-father was Professor Michael Fischberg at the University of Geneva. On the brink of the conference, she had talks with members of the Japanese Government too; she met with Ministerpresident Noda Yoshihiko, Minister of Economcis Edano Yukio and Minister of Finance Jojima Koriki. Justified are these measures by the fact that the turnover of the company amounts to only 5% in Greece and that most investors are not of Greek nationality. According to the <Financial Times>, <Coco-Cola> in the USA and further major shareholders of the company had requested the relocation. The company declared that Greece is not going to lose any tax receipts and the production will remain in the country. The Greek dairy enterprise <FAGE> had informed earlier to intend to move to Luxembourg; already more than 100 Greek companies shall have moved to Bulgaria this year. Das Unternehmen <Coca Cola Hellenic (CCH)> verlegt seinen Unternehmens-Sitz von Athen ins Ausland in die Schweiz; gleichzeitig kotiert der Konzern seine Aktien an der Boerse von London. Begruendet wird diese Massnahme damit, dass der Umsatz der Firma in Griechenland nur 5% betraegt und die meisten Investoren keine Griechen seien. Gemaess <Financial Times> haetten <Coca-Cola> aus den USA und weitere bedeutende Aktionaere die Firma zum Umzug aufgefordert. Die Firma erklaerte, dass Griechenland keine Steuer-Einnahmen verliere und die Produktion im Land bleibe. Presently, the supply of the electricity into the Spanish grid takes place; at the start of the construction in 2009, the building costs were estimated to about 230 Mio. Swiss Francs. The new solar-power plant is based on the new <Linear-Fresnel-Technology> invented by the German company <Novatec Solar> in Karlsruhe. <Puerto Errado 2> is said to be the biggest and first commercial solar-power plant of the world using that technology; a special advantage of it shall be the little water consumption in that dry region. For the radio listeners that has consequences; they have to buy new radio sets with the DAB+ standard in order to be able to continue to listen to the radio. The relatively new radio sets in the <old DAB only> standard have to be replaced too. The refitting (up-grading) refers to radio sets at the household as well as radio sets positioned in cars. Regarding to the DAB+ standard, Switzerland was in 2009 worldwide even the first country that implemented that system. The national radio programs <DRS 1, DRS 4 and Music Wave> can (still) be listened conventionally. Japanese new car models, such as the Lexus Hybrid brand have already in-built radio sets based on the latest DAB+ standard. A multifunctional and wide DAB+ radio set is available from the Japanese producer <Japan Victor Co. (JVC)>. Ab dem 17. Die Nachruestung bezieht sich sowohl auf die Radio-Geraete im Haushalt, wie auf die Radio-Geraete in den Personen- Wagen (Autos). The 34-years old Caroline Steffen from the Bernese Oberland was ranked second and the nearly 46-years old Natascha Badmann reached despite her age the very good ranking No. 6. She had been already six times Ironman-World-Champion. The race on the <Big Island> started with 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running. Caroline Steffen was only narrowly overtaken four kilometers ahead of the goal by the British woman Leanda Cave. At the category Men, the Swiss Ronnie Schildknecht was ranked as number 19; the Swiss is sixfold <Ironman-Switzerland> Champion. In the beginning, the place was rentend mostly to foreign tourists; in the meantime, it has become most popular among Japanese for family events, birthdays, over-nights stays etc.; meals, drinks etc. can be organized personally by catering service or by take-away from the famous <Nishki-cho-ichiba> market not far from the machiya.
