(Tue. 11.10.2011 Smi) 著名な「欧州ソーラー賞2011」が4名のスイスの女性閣僚に授与される。この 賞は1994年から毎年「持続可能エネルギー欧州協会」の「ユーロソーラー」 から贈られる。4名の女性連邦評議員は、脱核エネルギーを決めたスイス政府 の決定に果たした格別の働きで栄誉を讃えられた。スイス政府は2011年5月末 に、2034年までの脱原発を決め、その後数ヶ月間で両院議会は政府の決定を承 認した。スイスの審査員に依ると、日本の大事故の後、「これ程明確に政府が エネルギー政策の転換を示した例」は全欧州でも唯一。 The esteemed <European Solar Prize 2011> will be awarded to the four female members of the Swiss Government; the prize is since 1994 annually given by <Eurosolar>, the <European Association for Renewable Energies>. The four female Federal Councilors will be honored for their important role regarding to the decision of the Swiss Government for the pullout from the nuclear energy. The Swiss Government decided the end of May 2011 to make the pullout from nuclear energy use up to the year 2034; in the following months, the two chambers of the Swiss Parliament approved the decision of the Government. According to the Swiss jury member, it was Europe-wide unique that a government set <such a clear sign for a change in the use of energy>, after the disaster in Japan. With a loss of 1.3 billion Swiss Francs about 10,000 clients of the Bank CS (Credit Suisse) were particularly affected. Overall, it was said that a number of clients ran into the ruin by their own will (decision). Mit einem Verlust von 1,3 Milliarden Schweizer Franken waren zirka 10 000 Kunden der Bank CS (Credit Suisse) besonders stark betroffen. Insgesamt wird gesagt, dass ein Teil der Kunden aus eigenem Willen (Verschulden) ins Verderben gerannt ist. Particularly important is the plant in Ethiopia as nutrition; due to wind and rain, however up to 50% of the harvest is lost annually. That shall be changed in the future; within the scope of the so-called <Teff Improvement Project>, at the laboratory of the University of Berne, a new <dwarfism type> of millet plant is bred, which shall improve the supply situation sustainably. The breeding is a complex and difficult task; the millet <Teff> belongs to the family of sweet potatoes or <manioc>, the so- called <orphan crops>. The research team in Berne uses the method of <Tilling> which means <Targeting Induced Local Lesions in Genomes>. An der Universitaet Bern wird ein bedeutendes Forschungsprojekt durchgefuehrt; es geht um die Verbesserung der Ernten bei der Hirse- Art <Teff>, welche fuer Millionen von Menschen in Ost-Afrika eines der wesentlichsten Nahrungsmittel ist. Besonders wichtig ist die Pflanze in Aethiopien als Nahrungsmittel; infolge Wind und Regen geht jedoch jaehrlich bis zu 50% der Ernte verloren. Regarding to the test, the esteemed Swiss company established a world record with their latest high performance product. The <Swiss made> rock fall protection net has passed the exam with a 20 tons weight cement compound which fell down into the protection net from a height of 42 meters. The cement block reached on its way down a speed of 103 kilometers per hour and the energy amounted to 8,000 kilo joule on the moment of the collision. The Swiss institute, the research body WSL (Rockfall Research), is since 2010 the first certified examination body by the EU (European Union), for rock fall protection nets with own testing plant. They work together with the company <Geobrugg Ltd.>. At the testing a high-speed camera, which took up to 250 pictures per second, was in operation. Das <Swiss Made> Steinschlag-Schutznest bestand die Pruefung mit einem 20 Tonnen schweren Betonkoerper, welcher auf einer Hoehe von 42 Meter in das Schutznetz fiel. Der Betonklotz erreichte dabei eine Geschwindigkeit von 103 Kilometer pro Stunde und die Energie beim Aufprall betrug 8 000 Kilojoule. For that, the newspaper shall have assigned European companies to purchase thousands of copies of their paper. For that the newspaper, which belongs to the Group of <Rupert Murdoch> shall have regularly published reports about products or activities of these enterprises. The British authorities have started an appropriate investigation at the European edition of the <Wall Street Journal>. Gemaess einem Bericht der bekannten britischen Zeitung <The Guardian> von dieser Woche, soll die Wirtschaftszeitung <Wall Street Journal> waehrend Jahren mit geheimen Vereinbarungen ihre Leserzahlen manipuliert, das heisst gefaelschte, hoehere Verkaufszahlen ausgewiesen haben. Dazu soll die Zeitung europaeische Firmen beauftragt haben, Tausende Exemplare zu kaufen. Dafuer soll die Zeitung, welche zum Konzern von <Rupert Murdoch> gehoert, regelmaessig Berichte ueber Produkte oder Taetigkeiten dieser Unternehmen publiziert haben. For the Swiss team it will however be unlikely to win a medal. An impressive performance was however given by the Japanese National Team; in the category <combined event>, the Japanese athlete Uchimura Kohei won his third gold medal in succession at a World Championship. The priority regarding to the energy efficiency is based in construction that means at the time of constructing new buildings and in case of renovation of existing houses. In the meantime, there are already so-called <Plus-Energy-Buildings> (new buildings or renovated houses); such buildings produce more energy than they consume by themselves. The too much produced energy (electricity & heat) is supplied into the public electricity network (grid) and paid (compensated). The awarded <Plus-Energy-Building> of the company <Heizplan Ltd.> was nominated for the European Solar Prize. Am 10. Oktober 2011 wurden in der Schweiz die Solarpreise 2011 in den verschiedenen Kategorien vergeben; die Preisverleihung fand in Genf in Anwesenheit des Star-Architekten Lord Norman Foster und weiteren Persoenlichkeiten aus Politik und Wirtschaft statt. Die Prioritaet bei der Energie-Effizienz liegt beim Bauen, das heisst beim Bauen von neuen Gebaeuden und bei der Sanierung von bestehenden Haeusern. Inzwischen gibt es bereits so-genannte <Plus-Energie-Gebaeude> (Neubauten oder Sanierungen); solche Gebaeude produzieren mehr Energie als sie selber verbrauchen. Die zuviel produzierte Energie (Strom & Waerme) wird ins oeffentliche Strom-Netz geliefert und bezahlt. Das mit einem Preis ausgezeichnete <Plus-Energie-Gebaeude> der Firma <Heizplan AG> wurde fuer den europaeischen Solarpreis nominiert. We went to bed early, because the next day we had to transfer to Yonago Airport by the Airport shuttle bus in early morning meaning before 8 a.m. Despite of a working day, there were no traffic jams and the journey took about 20 minutes. It is a distance of 13 kilometers up to <Yonago Kitaro Airport> going the direction of <Sakai-Minato> town, which is a famous place in the region. The airport runway is just located at the shore of the sea; we flew to Haneda Airport and then taking the <Train Sky Access Line> up to Shinagawa. In Tokyo, we make a stopover and staying at the newly built <Hotel Niwa Tokyo> in the neighborhood of <Tokyo Dome>.
