(Thu. 05.05.2011 Smi) 日本で地震と津波に襲われた地域での人々の苦難と大被害に際し、日本の「 日本音楽財団」は2011年6月に世界でも最高のストラディヴァリウスのヴァイ オリンをオークションに出品することを決定した。日本音楽財団は、2008年 に同ヴァイオリンを1千万米ドルで購入したが、その後価格はかなり上昇した と見られる。数少ない本物のストラディヴァリウス制作のヴァイオリンで、 20世紀まで英国の詩人バイロン卿の孫娘レディー・アン・ブラントが所有し ていた。1721年に制作され、1941年から1959年まで、世界的に有名なベルン のヴァイオリン制作者ヘンリー・ヴェロ氏が所有していた。 （2011年5月5日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー紙より） In view of the suffering of the people and the enormous destruction in the regions of Japan affected by the earthquake and the sea wave (Tsunami), the Japanese <Nippon Music Foundation> decided to auction one of their worldwide best Stradivari violins in June 2011. The foundation purchased the violin only in the year 2008 for 10 Mio. US Dollars and in the meantime its value shall have increased considerably. Regarding to the Stradivari violin it is one of the very few genuine violins owned up to the 20th century by Lady Anne Blunt, one of the granddaughters of the British poet Lord Byron. The violin was made in 1721 and from 1941 to 1959 it was owned by the world famous violin maker Mr. Henry Werro in Berne (Switzerland). Angesichts des Leidens der Menschen und der riesigen Zerstoerung in der vom Erdbeben und von der Flutwelle (Tsunami) betroffenen Regionen in Japan, hat die japanische <Nippon Music Foundation> entschieden im Juni 2011 eine ihrer weltweit besten Stradivari Violine zu versteigern. Ltd.> won the tender offer for the supply of the new taxi vehicles (Yellow Cabs) for the City of New York; the offer has a value of about one billion US Dollars and it is going to be effective as from the year 2013. From that date, the present around 26,000 vehicles will be replaced by the new <Nissan NV200> over a period of ten years. The unit price amounts to 29,000 US Dollars and the vehicles will be manufactured in Mexico. The Nissan Van has convinced by its spacious interior space and a glass roof allows the passengers to have a view up to the sky. In the past, the <Yellow Cabs> played an <important> role in film- and TV productions. Das japanische Automobile Unternehmen <Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.> gewann die Ausschreibung fuer die Lieferung der neuen Taxi-Fahrzeuge (Yellow Cabs) fuer die Stadt New York; der Auftrag hat einen Wert von rund einer Milliarde US Dollar und er beginnt ab dem Jahr 2013. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt werden die bisherigen rund 26 000 Fahrzeuge ueber einen Zeitraum von zehn Jahren durch den neuen <Nissan NV200> ersetzt. (Thu. 28.04.2011 Smi) 相馬市で170人の僧侶が参加して、大災害の犠牲者の四十九日の合同法要が 行われ、約1,200人が参列した。仏教の考えでは、死者の魂は付近に留まり、 50日目に来世に行く。僧侶、遺族など、参列した人々は亡くなった人や行方 不明の人の冥福を祈った。自然災害によって、2万6千人が死亡したと推定さ れているが、今までに1万4,500人の遺体しか見つかっていない。遺体の多く は海に流され、決して見つからないだろうと言われている。チベットのダラ イ・ラマも日本に立ち寄り、東京で行われた特別法要に出席した。ダライ・ ラマは、チベット仏教の最高指導者である。 （2011年4月28日付けターゲス・アンツァイガー・オンラインより） About 1,200 people attended the memorial service, which was commemorated (conducted) by 170 Buddhist priests in the town of Soma. The service was held mutually on the 49th day after the death of many people, who had died by the natural disaster. According to the Buddhist belief, the souls of the deceased persons stay in the neighborhood of their place of death, before they pass over to their next life on the 50th day. The priests, relatives and attendees prayed for the deceased persons and the many humans missed; according to estimations nearly 26,000 humans have died by the natural disaster and so far only 14,500 dead bodies were found. It might be expected that many of the victims were washed away into the sea and their bodies can perhaps never be found. The Tibetan Dalai Lama traveled for this reason especially to Japan in order to participate on a memorial service in Tokyo; he is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan Buddhists. Ungefaehr 1 200 Personen nahmen an einer Gedenkfeier teil, welche von 170 buddhistischen Priestern in der Stadt Soma gestaltet wurde. Sie wurde gemeinsam zum 49. Tag seit dem Tod der vielen Menschen, welche bei der Naturkatastrophe starben, durchgefuehrt. Nach dem buddhistischen Glauben bleiben die Seelen der Verstorbenen in der Umgebung ihres Sterbeortes, bevor sie am 50. Tag in ein naechstes Leben uebertreten. Die Priester, Angehoerige und Anwesende beteten fuer die Verstorbenen und die vielen vermissten Menschen; gemaess Schaetzungen starben durch die Naturkatastrophe fast 26 000 Menschen und bisher wurden erst 14 500 tote Koerper gefunden. Es muss damit gerechnet werden, dass viele der Opfer ins Meer gespuelt wurden und ihre Koerper vielleicht nie gefunden werden. Der tibetische Dalai Lama kam deswegen extra nach Japan um an einer Gedenkzeremonie in Tokyo teilzunehmen; er ist das geistige Oberhaupt der tibetischen Buddhisten. (Mon. 02.05. 2011 Smi) 共同通信によれば、福井県の関係当局は、敦賀原子力発電所二号機で放射能 漏れ事故を疑っている。燃料棒に何らかの損傷があったと見られる。敦賀原 発二号機は運転を停止すべきと言われていたが、その後二号機の冷却水にあ る種の放射性物質の濃度が上昇しているのが認められた。日本原子力発電 （JAPC）は技術的な問題があったことは認めているが、放射能漏れはなかっ たとしている。1981年にすでに敦賀原子力発電所一号機から放射性物質が検 出されたが、JAPCはその際事故を隠した。日本海沿岸には全部で13の原子力 発電所があり、敦賀原子力発電所は福島原子力発電所から360キロメートル 離れている。（2011年5月2日付けcash.chより） According to a report by the agency Kyodo, the authorities of the prefecture of Fukui suspect a radioactive hazardous incident in reactor No. 2 at the nuclear power plant in <Tsuruga>; it is said that the nuclear fuel rods shall be affected. It was said that reactor No. 2 shall be shut down. There are according to that indications regarding to an increase of certain substances in the cooling water of the nuclear power plant. According to the operator, the company <Japan Atomic Power Co. (JAPC)>, there shall be a <technical problem>, a leak however shall not have occurred. Already in the year 1981, radioactive substances had escaped from the nuclear power plant <Tsuruga One>, in which <JAPC> had covered up the incident at that time. Along the West coast, there are a total of 13 nuclear power plants located of which the <Tsuruga>plant is located about 360 kilometers air-line distance away from the nuclear power plant Fukushima. That was reported by the news agency Kyodo under reference to the operator, the company <Tepco>. Affected by that trouble is the cooling system, in which the mentioned valve was not working. When in case of an emergency water needs to be pumped to the reactor, then that valve is important. It is however said that it is <unlikely> that due to the damage radioactive substances were released. At the same time, from a report published by the end of February 2011, alarming details over serious failures, which happened after the earthquake in 2007, became known. Then overall 50 technical defects were recorded; those were initially not reported by the company <Tepco>. In that, it was mentioned for instance that some equipment was badly maintained. At the nuclear power plant with seven reactors, then radioactive loaded water ran from a leak into the sea too. Im weltweit groessten Atom-Kraftwerk (AKW), dem japanischen AKW <Kashiwazaki-Kariwa> wurde ein beschaedigtes Ventil festgestellt. Dies meldete die Nachrichten-Agentur Kyodo mit Berufung auf den Betreiber, die Firma <Tepco>. Davon betroffen sei das Kuehlsystem, wobei das erwaehnte Ventil nicht funktionierte habe. Falls bei einem Notfall Wasser zum Reaktor gepumpt werden muesse, sei dieses Ventil wichtig. Es soll jedoch <unwahrscheinlich> sein, dass wegen dem Defekt radioaktive Substanzen freigesetzt worden seien. Gleichzeitig wurden aus einem Bericht, welcher Ende Februar 2011 publiziert wurde, beunruhigende Einzelheiten ueber schwerwiegende Stoerfaelle, welche nach dem Erdbeben 2007 auftraten, bekannt. Insgesamt wurden dann 50 technische Defekte festgestellt; diese wurden damals durch die Firma <Tepco> anfaenglich nicht gemeldet. Darin wurde beispielsweise erwaehnt, dass einige Geraete schlecht gewartet worden seien. In der sieben Reaktoren umfassenden Atomkraftwerk-Anlage war damals ebenfalls radioaktiv belastetes Wasser aus einem Leck ins Meer geflossen. Inc.>, the operator of the nuclear power plant <Hamaoka> to shutdown the plant. The Government based their decision on safety reasons. The nuclear power plant <Hamaoka> stands on an earthquake endangered fault and according to the authorities there is a likelihood of 87% that an earthquake with a level of 8.0 will hit that region in the next 30 years. The nuclear power plant is considered to be one of the most dangerous plants; it is located only about 200 kilometers away from Tokyo and in case of damage, Tokyo would be hit by radioactive contamination. Local residents and activists have already a long time ago requested a shutdown of the plant. The whole nuclear power plant has five reactors of which the oldest two built in the seventies were put out of service already in January 2009. The reactor No. 3 is presently not in service due to maintenance work; the reactors No. 4 and No. 5 are only active at present, of which reactor No. 5 had to be switched off temporarily once in 2006 due to a turbine damage. Das Atom-Kraftwerk (AKW) <Hamaoka> steht auf einer Erdbeben-gefaehrdeten Bruchlinie und gemaess den Behoerden gibt es eine Wahrscheinlichkeit von 87%, dass in den naechsten 30 Jahren ein Erdbeben der Staerke 8,0 die Region des Atom- Kraftwerkes treffen wird! Das <AKW> gilt als eines der gefaehrlichsten Atom-Kraftwerke; es ist nur zirka 200 Kilometer von Tokyo entfernt und bei einer Beschaedigung wuerde Tokyo radioaktiv verseucht. Lokale Bewohner und Aktivisten haben schon lange die Abschaltung verlangt. Die gesamte Atom-Anlage besteht aus fuenf Reaktoren, wobei die aeltesten zwei aus den 70ziger Jahren schon im Januar 2009 still gelegt wurden. The Japanese Government has announced to work out a <new> energy concept for the country; the newspaper <Yomiuri Shimbun> wrote about it, saying that the build-up of a <Low Energy Society> should be promoted and the necessary politics for that should be rapidly developed. In Japanese Internet circles, it was reported about a memorandum dated from 1995, in which the former director of the <Citizens' Nuclear Information Center>, Takagi Jinzaburo, had warned already then about the earthquake danger of the plant in Fukushima. Inside the building of reactor No. 1 in Fukushima, the radiation level has decreased in the meantime so that technicians could start with the installation of a new cooling system. The Japanese Parliament member Shiozaki Yasuhisa (LDP) made in a discussion round the proposal to relocate the Japanese Parliament to Fukushima; that should be a sign of determination and a proof of trust into that region. In Tokyo demonstrierten wieder Tausende gegen die Kern-Energie und fuer <eine neue Energie-Politik> wie auf den mitgefuehrten Plakaten zu lesen war; die japanische <Anti-Atomkraft-Bewegung> erhaelt rund zwei Monate nach der Katastrophe im Atom-Kraftwerk Fukushima immer mehr Unterstuetzung. Die japanische Regierung verkuendete, sie wolle ein <neues> Energiekonzept fuer das Land erarbeiten; die Zeitung <Yomiuri Shimbun> schrieb dazu, der Aufbau einer <Niedrig-Energie> Gesellschaft (Low Energy Society) sollte beguenstigt werden und die entsprechende Politik dafuer sollte rasch entwickelt werden. An actual survey, established by order of the Federal Office of Environment (Bafu) showed now, that the clearance of litter in connection with <Littering> cost Switzerland-wide the amount of 200 Mio. Swiss Francs per year!! 150 Mio. SFr. cost the removal of litter in public space and 50 Mio. SFr. in public transport system. The <Littering> does not only disturb the citizens, but the taxpayer and the users of the public transport system must additionally pay for the cost!! Particularly, the <Littering> is referred to litter of meals (take- away food), beverages (aluminum cans, pet bottles etc.), free of cost newspapers, flyers and cigarettes. Squares in front of stations as well as party and picnic locations are particularly hit by that problem. The new study shall serve again as basis for the negotiations between authorities and private parties (retail trade, publishers, recycling branch etc.) with the target to shift the cost for it regarding to the cause base principle. Bis vor kurzem gab es nur Schaetzungen ueber die jaehrlichen Kosten, welche durch das <Littering>, das heisst das Wegwerfen von Muell im oeffentlichen Raum und in oeffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln entstehen. Eine aktuelle Studie, welche im Auftrag des Bundesamtes fuer Umwelt (Bafu) erstellt wurde, zeigt jetzt, dass die Beseitigung von Abfall im Zusammenhang mit <Littering> schweizweit jaehrlich 200 Mio. Schweizer Franken kostet!! 150 Mio. SFr. kostet das Wegraeumen von Abfall im oeffentlichen Raum und 50 Mio. SFr. in oeffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Das <Littering> stoert die Buerger nicht nur, sondern die Steuerzahler und Benutzer des oeffentlichen Verkehrs muessen die Kosten dafuer zusaetzlich noch bezahlen!! Vom <Littering> besonders betroffen sind Abfaelle von Mahlzeiten (Unterwegs- Verpflegung), Getraenke (Aludosen, Petflaschen etc.), Gratiszeitungen, Flugblaetter (Flyer) und Zigaretten. Plaetze vor Bahnhoefen sowie Party- und Picknick-Plaetze sind besonders betroffen. Die neue Studie dient wiederum als Grundlage fuer die Verhandlungen zwischen Behoerden und privaten Parteien (Einzelhandel, Zeitungsverlage, Recycling-Branche etc.) mit dem Ziel die Kosten dafuer <Verursacher- gerecht> ueberwaelzen zu koennen. In the nearby half-pedestrian zone, there is a Japanese antique shop where we found a <hakosen box> for a very fair price and later we have a rest at a tradition local sweet & coffee shop where we enjoyed Machia tea & <yomogi dango> with azuki. On foot, we walk along the many canals in Matsue up to the famous <Matsue castle>. There on the spot, they make a tourist survey regarding to foreign tourists; we go up to the top of the castle having a beautiful view over the City. We also learnt that the dark orange colored <Sekishu-Kawara> tiles are a regional speciality.
