The Foreign Ministry of the US Government considers it to be right that the US ambassador is going to attend. Due to the US atomic bomb attack, then 140,000 people died; on August 9th, 1945, another atomic bomb attack followed onto the City of Nagasaki, of which about 80,000 people were killed. Since then hundred thousands of more people died on the aftermath of the atomic bomb attacks. Mehr als 60 Jahre nach dem Atombomben-Angriff der USA auf die japanische Stadt Hiroshima am 6. August 1945, beabsichtigt der amerikanische Botschafter in Japan, erstmals an der jaehrlichen Gedenkveranstaltung in der Stadt Hiroshima teilzunehmen. Das Aussenministerium der US-Regierung erachtet es als richtig, dass der US-Botschafter daran teilnimmt. Wegen dem US-Atombomben-Abwurf starben damals 140 000 Menschen; am 9. August 1945 folgte ein weiterer Bomben- Angriff auf die Stadt Nagasaki, wobei ungefaehr 80 000 Menschen getoetet wurden. Seither starben hundertausende weiterer Menschen an den Folgen der Atombomben-Angriffe. The polling firm <Demoscope> collects since 1974 the value system (ethic values) in Switzerland; for that, about 2,000 people are questioned annually and they have to answer 26 questions. The survey shows a strong increase of the importance of modesty and rootage (back to the roots); in comparison to earlier years, the humans prefer again protective values and their attitude is less progressive. Since the year 2000, a change can be seen towards more homeland solidarity and a return to one's own roots (traditional values). That change has to do among others with the financial crisis, but also with the incidents such as September 11th, 2001 and the <Grounding> of Swissair in 2001. Die Schweizer legen wieder Wert auf bewaehrte traditionelle und konservative Werte; dies zeigt eine Umfrage, basierend auf welcher das <Psychologische Klima der Schweiz> berechnet wird. Das Meinungs- forschungsinstitut <Demoscope> erhebt seit 1974 die Werthaltungen in der Schweiz; dabei werden jaehrlich zirka 2 000 Leute befragt, wobei ihnen 26 Fragen gestellt werden. Die Umfrage zeigt eine starke Zunahme der Bedeutung von Bescheidenheit und Verwurzelung (back to the roots); im Vergleich zu frueheren Jahren bevorzugen die Menschen wieder bewahrende Werte und zeigen sich weniger fortschrittlich. Seit dem Jahr 2000 zeigt sich eine Veraenderung hin zu mehr Heimatverbundenheit und eine Rueckbesinnung auf die eigenen Wurzeln. He had accelerated the train too early that means the speed was increased from 35 km/hour to 55 km/hour before all rail cars had passed the position (signal) concerned. Thereby, the centrifugal force acted so strongly in the curve that the last rail car toppled off the rails pulling another two rails cars with him. The analysis of the tachograph (black box) confirmed that the train had already increased the speed on the accident position and that it drove through there with 56 km/hour. Investigations of the rails, the rolling stock (wagons) and the geology (condition of the railroad bed) on the accident location showed that these points could be excluded as reasons for the accident. Why the locomotive driver, who works since eight years for the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, committed that serious mistake, is not (yet) known because the man is under shock and is getting psychological counseling. When the report of the investigation authorities is ready, then the coroner will decide whether the locomotive driver will be prosecuted criminally. Management and Board of the MGB-Railway company have taken the full responsibility and apologized; the passengers affected will be compensated. The railway company deeply regrets the accident and expresses to the relatives its sympathy. The Swiss Government, the Foreign Ministry condoled in Japan and transmitted a letter of condolence signed by the Swiss President. Bereits eine Woche nach dem tragischen Zugsunglueck liegt das Resultat der Untersuchungen vor; das schwere Unglueck ist durch den Lokfuehrer verursacht worden, da er den Zug zu frueh beschleunigte, das bedeutet die Geschwindigkeit von 35 km/h auf 55 km/h erhoehte, bevor alle Wagen die betreffende Stelle (Signal) passiert hatten. Dadurch wirkte die Zentrifugalkraft in der Kurve so stark, dass der letzte Wagen aus den Schienen kippte und noch zwei weitere Wagen mitriss. Die Analyse des Fahrdaten-Schreibers (Black box) zeigte, dass der Zug an der Ungluecksstelle bereits die Geschwindigkeit erhoeht hatte und dort mit 56 km/h durch fuhr. Untersuchungen der Schienen, des Rollmaterials und der Geologie (Zustand des Bahntrasse) am Unfallort konnten als Grund fuer das Unglueck ausgeschlossen werden. Warum der Lokfuehrer, welcher seit acht Jahren bei der Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn arbeitet, diesen schweren Fehler machte, weiss man (noch) nicht, da der Mann unter Schock steht und psychologisch betreut wird. Wenn der Bericht der Untersuchungsbehoerde vorliegt, entscheidet der Untersuchungsrichter, ob der Lokfuehrer strafrechtlich verfolgt wird. Geschaeftsleitung und Verwaltungsrat der Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGB) haben die volle Verantwortung uebernommen und sich entschuldigt; die Betroffenen werden entschaedigt. Die Bahn bedauert das Unglueck zu tiefst und spricht den Angehoerigen ihr Mitleid aus. Die Schweizer Regierung, das Aussenministerium kondolierte in Japan und uebermittelte einen Kondolenzbrief, welcher von der Schweizer Bundespraesidentin unterzeichnet war. In the new game, which will be available for the playstation 3 (SONY) by the end of the year, one can see among others the famous Chapel Bridge, parts of the Old Town etc. According to SONY Switzerland, Yamauchi-san was often on holiday in Lucerne and he was deeply impressed of the beauty of the City that's why he revived the place in his video game. The production cost for the <GT 5> amounts to 60 Mio. US Dollars; earlier versions of the video games were sold more than 50 Mio. times. Das neue japanische Videospiel <Gran Turismo 5 (GT 5)>, entwickelt durch den japanischen Programmierer Yamauchi Kazunori, zeigt die bekannte Schweizer Touristen-Stadt Luzern mit verschiedenen Sehenswuerdigkeiten. Im neuen <Game>, welches Ende Jahr fuer die Playstation 3 (SONY) zur Verfuegung stehen soll, sieht man unter anderem die Kapellbruecke, Teile der Altstadt usw. Gemaess SONY Schweiz war Yamauchi-san oft in Luzern in den Ferien und er war so beeindruckt von der Schoenheit der Stadt, dass er den Ort in seinem <Video-Game> aufleben laesst. Die Produktionskosten fuer <GT 5> betragen 60 Mio. US Dollar; fruehere Versionen wurden mehr als 50 Mio. Mal verkauft. The US enterprise pays for the Swiss company the amount of 255 Mio. SFr. or 139 SFr. per stock; <Adobe> is since about one year customer of <Day Software>. The Basle Company develops software, which is among others used in <Online-Shops>; the enterprise is listed on the Stock Exchange since the year 2000 and employs a workforce of 161 people. Already in 2005, <Microsoft> bought the IT Company <Media Streams> in Zurich; out of that partnership had been created in the meantime a worldwide development center of <Microsoft>. It is however possible that a three-step tariff will be applied, charging long distance flights with Euro 40 (ca. Yen 5000). According to an air traffic expert, the airline companies will be obliged to pass on the charges to the passengers that creates a strong price increase of air tickets. The new tax will lead to a relocation of flight to the nearby foreign countries, of which the airport of Zurich could profit. An example shows that as follows: In 2008 the Netherlands introduced a flight tax, whereon the airport of Amsterdam-Schiphol lost 18% of their passengers; they moved to airports in Belgium or Germany. Die deutsche Regierung (Finanzministerium) plant die Einfuehrung einer neuen Luftverkehrs-Abgabe (Oeko-Steuer) ab 2011; gemaess dem Plan sollen Fluege auf Kurzstrecken mit Euro 13 und auf Langstrecken mit Euro 26 belastet werden. Es ist jedoch moeglich, dass bei einem <Drei- Stufen-Tarif> Langstrecken mit Euro 40 (ca. Yen 5 000) belastet werden. Gemaess einem Luftfahrt-Experten werden die Fluggesellschaften (Airlines) gezwungen sein, die Gebuehren den Passagieren weiter zu belasten, das bedeutet eine starke Verteuerung der Flugscheine (Tickets). Die neue Steuer wird zu einer Verlagerung von Fluegen ins nahe Ausland fuehren, wobei der Flughafen Zuerich profitieren koennte. US Dollar expensive nano-technology research center of IBM in Rueschlikon (Zurich) can take up operation already three months earlier than planned; the handover of the building will take place already in December instead of in March 2011. The new center is based on a partnership between IBM and ETH Zurich (Federal Institute of Technology Zurich); there are six noise-free laboratories (noise- free Labs), where the very complex and sensitive experiments will be conducted. The building was constructed based on the Min-Energy Standard and the requirements to the management of the general contractor were even higher than regarding to the building of a hospital; around 70% of the waste heat can be reused. Das neue 90 Mio. US-Dollar teure Nanotechnologie Forschungszentrum der IBM in Rueschlikon (Zuerich) kann bereits drei Monate frueher als geplant den Betrieb aufnehmen; die Uebergabe des Bauwerks erfolgt bereits im Dezember anstatt erst im Maerz 2011. Das neue Zentrum basiert auf einer Partnerschaft zwischen der IBM und der ETH Zuerich; es gibt sechs geraeuschfreie Laboratorien (Noisefree-Labs), wo die sehr komplexen und sensitiven Experimente durchgefuehrt werden. Das Gebaeude wurde im Minergie-Standard gebaut und die Anforderungen an die Bauleitung waren noch hoeher als beim Bau eines Krankenhauses (Spitals); rund 70% der Abwaerme kann wieder genutzt werden. Up to 2013, 300 billion Yen shall be invested into transmitting stations; already as from December 2010, <down-loads> on up to 35 megabits per second based on the new service shall be possible. Das japanische Telekommunikations-Unternehmen <NTT Docomo> beeilt sich mit dem Aufbau des neuen, extrem schnellen (Daten-) Netzwerks der vierten Generation, welches unter dem Begriff <Long Term Evolution (LTE)> bekannt ist. Bis 2013 sollen in Sende-Stationen 300 Mrd. Yen investiert werden; bereits ab Dezember 2010 sind <Down-Loads> von bis zu 35 <Megabits> pro Sekunde mit dem neuen Service moeglich. We board the ropeway up to the top on mount Jizoh-yama on 1,661 meters; <Zao-renzan> is part of the the <Bandai- Asahi-Kokuritusukoen>. On the top, locals offer free <Udon-soup>; it is a bit foggy. On one side, there is a big bell and on the other side, a statue of a <Jizohson> where we pray for a safe hiking trip. Apart from another Japanese hiker, we were the only people on the gondola. He spoke to us and he kindly offered us to join him up to Mount Kumano (Kumano-dake). He knows the area; here is already autumn season. There is already less vegetation on that altitude; mainly bushes and small-sized trees.
