The Swiss press praised the players for their commitment and called the new trainer Ottmar Hitzfeld <the best trainer of the world>. On the day of the match, the colors red-white dominated in the Swiss streets; even counter staff at post offices did wear red-white Swiss T-shirts; the cashiers at the supermarket <Migros> too. As a deeply religious Catholic, the trainer made the sign of the cross and said thanks to God (Kami-sama) for his support; a headline called <Gottmar thank you> (Gottmar instead of ottmar). The supermarket chain <Migros> had a unique idea; the day after the match, the customers got a discount of 10% on their shopping at all <Migros> branches due to the victory of the Swiss soccer team. The discount will cost <Migros> about 5 Mio. Swiss Francs; thanks to the discount, the customers <rushed> in droves to the Migros shops buying also expensive electronic items. In the first match, the team of Japan won against Cameroon 1:0 and in the second match they lost narrowly 0:1 against the Netherlands. Nach dem ueberraschenden Sieg der Schweizer Fussball-Mannschaft an der FIFA-Weltmeisterschaft in Suedafrika, erlebte das Land eine kollektive Freudenzeit; die Schweiz gewann gegen den Europameister Spanien mit 1:0 Toren. Die Schweizer Presse lobte die Spieler fuer ihren Einsatz und bezeichnete den neuen Trainer Ottmar Hitzfeld als den besten Trainer der Welt. Am Spieltag dominierte die Farbe rot- weiss in den Schweizer Strassen; sogar das Schalterpersonal in Postaemtern trug rot-weisse Schweizer T-Shirts, ebenfalls das Kassenpersonal beim Supermarkt <Migros>. Als tief glaeubiger Katholik bekreuzigte sich der Trainer nach dem Spiel und danke Gott (Kami- sama) fuer die Unterstuetzung; eine Schlagzeile lautete <Gottmar sei Dank!> (Gottmar anstatt Ottmar). Die Supermarkt-Kette <Migros> hatte eine einmalige Idee; am Tag nach dem Spiel gab es in allen <Migros> einen Rabatt von 10% fuer die Kunden wegen dem Sieg der Schweizer Fussballer!! Der Rabatt soll <Migros> zirka 5 Mio. Schweizer Franken kosten; dank des Rabatts <stuermten> die Konsumenten in Scharen in die <Migros> und kauften ebenfalls teure Elektronik-Artikel. There is daily rain or rain showers and snow down to about 1,500 meters in the mountains; besides, it is cold with only about 15 centigrade Celsius. The cold snap is also called the <sheep coldness>; it usually reaches Switzerland always around the first half of June. On Sunday, there will be snow in the Alps and then the sheep will stay in the snow, that's why it is called <sheep coldness>. As from around middle of next week, the weather shall gradually improve and it will become dry and again warmer. The wet cold weather was so far no problem for the farmers; but, now they are looking forward to summer. Anstatt Sonne und Hitze domininieren Regen und Kaelte in diesen Tagen in der Schweiz. Es gibt taeglich Regen oder Regenschauer und Schnee bis auf zirka 1 500 Meter in den Bergen; es ist zudem kuehl mit nur zirka 15 Grad Celsius. Der Kaelte-Einbruch als so-genannte <Schafskaelte> bezeichnet erreicht die Schweiz jeweils so ungefaehr in der ersten Juni-Haelfte. Am Sonntag wird es in den Alpen Schnee geben und dann stehen die Schafe im Schnee, deshalb heisst es <Schafskaelte>. Ab zirka Mitte naechster Woche bessert sich das Wetter langsam und es wird trocken und wieder waermer. Das nasskalte Wetter ist fuer die Bauern bisher kein Problem; aber sie sehnen sich jetzt doch nach dem Sommer. Within the scope of a special <blood pressure offensive campaign> in the year 2009, more than 10,000 people had their blood pressure checked in 800 pharmacies all over Switzerland in May 2009. The result was rather worrying; every third human had a too high blood pressure and every fifth didn't know that health risk of his own. One third of the persons who had checked their blood pressure had a higher value than 140/90 mm/Hg. In case of higher blood pressure, there is a stronger risk for a stroke, but also for a heart attack. Das Risiko des Bluthochdrucks wird unterschaetzt und deshalb bleibt erhoehter Blutdruck oft unerkannt. Im Rahmen einer besonderen <Blutdruck-Offensive Kampagne> im Jahr 2009, haben sich im Mai 2009 mehr als 10 000 Leute in 800 Apotheken in der ganzen Schweiz den Blutdruck messen lassen. Das Resultat war eher beunruhigend; jeder dritte Mensch hatte einen zu hohen Blutdruck und jeder Fuenfte kannte dieses Gesundheitsrisiko bei sich selber nicht. Ein Drittel der Personen, welche den Blutdruck kontrollierten, hatten einen hoeheren Wert als 140/90 mm/Hg. Bei Bluthochdruck besteht ein staerkeres Risiko fuer einen Hirnschlag, aber auch fuer einen Herzinfarkt. It is the first time that the prize was given to Switzerland; in the past, the TV stations RTL, ORF and ARD were awarded with the prize. About 20 weather presenters participated on the event; they evaluated on their own about the quality of the weather programs and selected the winner out of it. Anlaesslich des vierten Treffens der Wetter-Moderatoren der grossen deutschsprachigen Fernsehanstalten am Woerthersee in Oesterreich, wurden die Meteorologen des Schweizer Fernsehens (SF) mit dem begehrten Preis fuer die <beste deutschsprachige Wetter-Redaktion> ausgezeichnet. Es ist das erste Mal, dass dieser Preis an die Schweiz geht; in der Vergangenheit bekamen die TV-Anstalten RTL, ORF und ARD diese Auszeichnung. Nach 695 Tagen zurueck in der Schweiz (Tue. 15.06.2010 Smi) スイス人技術者マックス・ゴェルディ氏が2010年6月14日夜、自らの意思に 反する695日間に亘るリビア滞在からスイスに帰還した。同氏はスイス外相 ミシュリン・カルミ＝レと外交官らに伴われてスイス政府専用機でツューリ ッヒ・クローテン空港に到着した。空港には同氏の家族全員、82歳になる母 親、3人の兄弟姉妹、そして日本人の妻やす子さん達が出迎えて抱き合った。 全員が喜びのうちに幸せな結末に安堵した。ゴェルディ家は、関係者全員に 対して、支援と援助に感謝の手紙を発表した。 （出典：2010年6月15日付20分紙他） The Swiss engineer Max Goeldi returned back to Switzerland after an unintended stay of 695 days in Libya on the night of June 14, 2010. He arrived in company of the Swiss Foreign Minister, Mrs. Micheline Calmy-Rey and diplomats on a Swiss Government plane at Zurich airport. At the airport, he was warmly welcomed and taken into the arms by his whole family, his 82-years old mother, his three brothers and his Japanese spouse Yasuko. All were pleased and relieved about the <happy> end of the story. The family Goeldi thanked all parties for their support and help in an open letter of thanks. Der Schweizer Ingenieur Max Goeldi kehrte in der Nacht auf den 14. Juni 2010 nach einem unfreiwilligen Aufenthalt von 695 Tagen aus Libyen in die Schweiz zurueck. Er kam in Begleitung der Schweizer Aussenministerin Micheline Calmy-Rey und Diplomaten im Schweizer Regierungsflugzeug in Zuerich-Kloten an. Am Flughafen wurde er von seiner ganzen Familie, seiner 82-jaehrigen Mutter, seinen drei Geschwistern und seiner japanischen Ehefrau Yasuko begruesst und in die Arme genommen. Alle freuten sich und waren erleichtert ueber das <glueckliche> Ende dieser Geschichte. Die Familie Goeldi dankte allen Beteiligten in einem offenen Dankesbrief fuer ihre Unterstuetzung und Hilfe. The US-Group estimates Switzerland as a very enterprise-friendly location and the country is known as an esteemed financial center worldwide. The enterprise intends to make acquisitions in the future, therefore Schaffhausen located in the center of Europe is an ideal business location for the company. The number of staff shall be quickly increased from five in the beginning to 20 employees. The Swiss research institute Eawag supports a project in Africa, of which thanks to the use of charred and powdered animal bones, the <Fluoride> shall be filtered out of the potable water. Volcanic rocks are strongly containing <fluoride> and from the rocks, the substance goes into the groundwater. The critical value of <Fluoride> recommended by the WHO is at a level of 1,5 milligrams per liter. She became increasingly angry about the guests, of her famous and popular Japanese restaurant, who didn't eat up their food (meals) and left behind leftovers on their plates! Who doesn't eat up his meals (food) on the plate, will be banned from coming back to the restaurant; guests, which however eat up everything, will be awarded with a discount of 30% on the bill and receive the chance to be put on the exclusive list of the 800 <regulars>. Ichikawa-san intends with her measures to fight against the wastefulness of foods and fare; her concept bases on the Buddhist philosophy of <Mottainai>, which intends among others to avoid wastefulness and to make the most out of the limited resources. At the compound, we enjoyed a maccha set in a traditional Japanese tea house, we walked around and inside the main structure we sat down on the tatami and admired the beautiful Japanese garden. On the way back, we passed the town <Agano> which is famous for its lake Hyoko with swans. We went back home a bit earlier; upon our request, Okamisan will kindly prepare <Yaki-nasu> as part of the evening meal. The next day we left and Okami-san gave us a <Omamori> which was handmade by her mother to protect us on our future journey. Our next destination is <Kaminoyama-onsen> in Yamagat-ken; on the way we stopped at at a <Michi-no-eki> around Oguni-machi.
